This is an absolutely stunning decorative porcelain bowl and spoon rest set of Japanese porcelain-ware. The bowl is hand enameled both on the inside and the outside with Chrysanthemum flowers and flying birds of paradise in cinnabar red with heavy gold gilt throughout. Accented in heavy gold around the rim. Exceptional quality.
Comes with a matching pewter-encased spoon rest.

The bowl measures approximately 6” across x 2-3/4”D. Hand signed in red Exclusively for NEIMAN MARCUS on the underside. The spoon is about 8-1/2”L x 3”W. Stamped in red on the underside. Hand decorated in Hong Kong.
