This is a lot of newest five original tinted lithograph plates taken from the USPRR Explorations & Surveys- 35th Parallel Indian Report volume produced circa 1855.
Each plate measures approximately 8 1/2" x 11 1/2". They are as follows:
"Indian Alter And Ruins Of Old Zuni", signed, "H.B.Mollhansen, Del." and "T. Sinclair's Lith Phila"
"Mojave Indians", signed, "H.B. Mollhansen" and "T. Sinclair's Lith Phila"
"Navajos.", signed, "H.B. Mollhansen" and "T. Sinclair's Lith Phila"
"Indian Ornaments and Manufactures", signed, "F.S. Del." and "T. Sinclair's Lith Phila", and this one is in a vertical format
"Zuni Sacred Spring", signed, "Litho of Sarony & Co New York"
These all have, appropriate to their age, yellowing and some foxing, plus there are penciled in numbers which could be removed...but overall really great historical tinted lithographs that would look wonderful matted and framed.
