Fabulous 6” tall x 7” wide Italian ceramic pot with sponge finish over bright red-orange with sgraffito poppies and painted black vertical stripes. This planter is in the style of Rosenthal Netter but is unsigned. It came from a period MCM-heavy estate in a set with three nearly-identical but differently sized pots. One of the smaller pots is listed separately.
There is a small chip in the rim and some black marks on the bottom of the interior along with some spots of light crazing. Please see the photos for details. The interior is vibrant red-orange, and the depth of the colors applied to the poppies has an almost enamel-like appearance.
