Only produced for 4 years, (1928-1931) just 21,460 of these clocks were ever made. These clocks were not sold to the public, but rather given away as a gift with the purchase of a GE Monitor Top Refrigerator. These clocks are quite hard to find today, newest with the passage of nearly 100 years. This clock is one of the first of its kind; produced in 1928. The first generation of these clocks were made with 16 circular rows of fins on the condenser coil, while the later models had only 14 rows. First generation clocks also do not have second hands. The glass lens is original & clean, the electric cord is also original to 1928. Clock was tested prior to listing and in working condition, but no guarantees are made as to function. Clock measures 9"high x 5"wide x 3" Deep. Clock will be well packed, but note that chipping paint is inevitable and will be packaged as well as possible to prevent loss of paint.
