Original Sperm Whale Painting: Acrylic whale newest painting

This is an original acrylic painting of a sperm whale, perhaps coastal New England's most emblematic species. Prior to the moratorium on whale hunting, sperm whales used to be hunted for their sperm oil, spermacetti (wax), and baleen used for medical purposes and in hoop skirts and corsets. This painting is 9'' x 12'' and has some light splattering around it.
