These are a charming set of antique ribbon pins made sometime between 1875-1885. These pins are lovely examples of a classic Victorian fashion statement. During the Grand period of Victorian design women wore petite pins fastened to ribbons, in the hair, at the throat, and on the wrist.

About Pinchbeck:
Often referred to as Victorian Bronze, Pinchbeck used to replicate gold during, before and sometime after the California Gold Rush (1848-1855).
