Each canvas in treated and processed so that the watercolor absorbs into the canvas like the thick paper that is usually needed for the medium. I started playing around with both canvas and watercolors because I loved the way the watercolor looked but knew how expensive it is to frame paper watercolors. Painting a watercolor on canvas helps each piece be more cost effective. These canvases don't need to be frames and are ready to hang!
